Hey ladies… if you missed out on booking your spot for our AW Travel girl’s trip to France this Fall, here is your chance! This October we are headed to the GORGEOUS island of Crete, Greece! Come alone or grab a friend and join us for a coastal adventure to Crete with it’s azure waters and rich historical tapestry. Our 7-day journey begins on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 through Monday, October 14th with everything already all planned out for you… from an off-roading Jeep adventure exploring Crete from north to south to exploring the old town of Rethymno and lunch at a local taverna by the Argyroupolis Waterfalls. I’ve visited other parts of Greece several times now and have loved every second so I am so excited to explore Crete for the first time with all of you! Whether you are timid about traveling abroad alone or you just love the idea of meeting new people, our AW Travel girl’s trips are for you! Most everything is already planned and completely taken care of so all that’s left to do is eat, drink and make memories that’ll last a lifetime!

For this trip, I will once again be joined by Ab and we cannot wait to welcome you in Greece yet again this October! The trip is 7 days and 6 nights… October 8, 2024 through October 14, 2024. I have always heard incredible things about Crete and how beautiful the island is so we are beyond thrilled to see and explore it with each of you.
The trip cost is $3699 per person and once again, includes an absolute TON! The cost includes six nights of accommodations (one night in Heraklion, two nights in Rethymno and three nights in Chania). It also includes all city transfers, our local guide, breakfasts and then lots of extra meals and experiences. Those are… a group “welcome” dinner at a local restaurant the first evening and then a day visiting the famous Heraklion Archeological Museum as well as the Palace of Knossos archeological site and a relaxing afternoon at the beaches of Rethymno. Next, we will traverse the island of Crete from north to south in a Jeep Caravan, off roading and exploring the diverse palm forests, gorges, and beaches of Crete followed by a stop at Preveli Beach for a swim. Day four we will visit the Argyroupolis Waterfalls and then enjoy a local lunch at a taverna by the Falls. The next day we will be traveling to and exploring the town of Chania where we will also be tasting local delicacies. From the town we will then transfer to The Patriarchal Monastery of the Holy Trinity Tzagarolon where we will also have an optional wine tour. For our final day, you can choose between an optional Tropical Balos and Gramvousa Islet Cruise or a free day to relax at the hotel or sunbathe on the beach. Then that evening will be our final farewell dinner.
Flights are once again NOT INCLUDED and are to be booked on your own… everyone will be arriving from different destinations and you’ll be able to extend your travels on your own if you’d like as well!
Once again, we went a bit outside of what our travel company typically sets up for these travels and upgraded all of the accommodations to 4+ stars and upgraded all of the meals and experiences. Hey, when you travel halfway across the world you want the full experience right?!?
We absolutely cannot WAIT to travel with all of you!!!
