Good Morning! Happy Tuesday and Happy July… back to the blog after a little hiatus. Someone asked me last week if I ever got sick of blogging or wanted to give it up. Honestly and maybe surprisingly I think that blogging and social are the two things I love most about what I do. I decided after going through some big life changes a few years back and then opening my retail store and venturing into some other areas of business that I wanted to always make sure and keep my blog and social what it has always been… a place for me to document all the things I love. From traveling to my family to house projects and our other design and renovation ventures. I never wanted it to turn into something that felt forced or like a burden. Like I HAD to post five days a week even if it meant “making up content”. Yes, I post collaborations and sponsorships but they’re all truly things I love and things I use and projects we want to do anyways. The timing of things may shift a bit based on promotions but otherwise, I post when I have something to share. And I don’t if I don’t! If that makes sense…
John and I were actually chatting the other day about what we would do if we retired tomorrow and we both said we’d basically do exactly what we do now. Renovate and design and document. I guess that means you’re where you are meant to be right? Of course we might scale back on the hours and such but otherwise long story short, I truly love what we do and I love sharing it with all of you.
Today’s post is fairly short and sweet simply sharing links to everywhere we stayed on our 2022 Summer Adventure. I pinky super promise I will be thoroughly blogging our travels soon but in the meantime I wanted to have a place to send those of you who’ve asked for links to the incredible Airbnbs we called home in each European city we visited. There are a few one nighters and such I wouldn’t necessarily recommend so I left those out but otherwise I would highly recommend each of these! Particularly our Praiano, Florence and Antibes Airbnbs along with the Rome Cooking Experience as well!
Also, before I go I wanted to give y’all an Antibes real estate purchase update… I had shared that we would be “house shopping” this Summer in Antibes (more like apartment/flat) shopping and although we did… there is good news and there is “bad news”. The good news is that John loved Antibes as much as I do and is much more invested in us getting something we love and that we’d want to spend a substantial amount of time in…. BUT the bad news is that he loved it so much we decided to purchase something a tad bigger than we had originally planned which means we need to sell our historic flip homes first and then purchase something hopefully next Summer. Fingers crossed. So that’s the plan! Originally we were looking at a 1-2 bedroom and now we are wanting a 2-3 bedroom place for us to spend our Summers and much of our retirement. Documenting our France life of course 😉 Hope y’all have a wonderful day and here’s all of the amazing places we stayed!

Also, in case you missed my announcement last month I am so excited to be one of Google’s paid early testers for their Thank with Google pilot program! Thank with Google is an experimental feature that allows you to purchase a virtual sticker and directly show your appreciation for content on this website!
There are a variety of stickers to select from, and every time you send a paid sticker you can add a personal message to us! The virtual stickers translate into direct revenue that supports the work on this website.
You can find the Thank with Google feature in multiple places on my site. If you try it out, let us know what you think! Thanks as always for your support.
XOXO, Brittany Palazzo
