GOOD MORNINGGGG!!! Truly cannot believe this day is FINALLY HERE!!! The beginning of final room reveals inside our historic flip home. Which by the way… I STILL cannot think of a fun name for! I love to name our renovation projects so they’re easy to mention and for you to know which I am referring to. So… if you think of something DO TELL!
Today I have so much to say! First and most obvious, the family room is COMPLETE (ish… we still have the album wall to install) and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE how it turned out! If you maybe remember from IG stories a few months back, I got all of YOU to choose the wall color from three options I had narrowed it down to… Hague Blue, Brinjal and Studio Green all by Farrow and Ball. Y’all chose Studio Green and it is 10x more beautiful than I even imagined.
After the wall color, next up in my design selection process was the FLOORING! I will be blogging my selection… Dogwood Engineered Floors by Bruce Flooring in Sattler White Oak… next week but in the meantime, it is the perfect choice for an engineered hardwood. It’s unbelievable durable and easy to install!
Next, I knew I wanted the space to feel incredibly warm and inviting so I chose this super cozy and crazy beautiful Ensel Sectional in Jubilee Pearl by Jonathan Louis. Jonathan Louis has been my go-to for sofas/sectionals for eight years now. I have blogged every single one we have from our family room to our playroom and cabin. They have so many styles, so many fabrics and are all incredible quality. We’ve had several of ours for almost a decade and they’re still going strong!
Once the paint was up and the flooring was in, I found this GORGEOUS Pinion Chandelier in Gold by Varaluz and it was a must have. The perfect touch of whimsy and fun for this elegant space. P.S. Varaluz has sooooo many fun chandeliers and sconces. I saw quite a few new ones that I am eying for upcoming design projects. They’re all super unique and different too!
And finally, the DETAILS… that last 15% I always chat about. I got a couple of things from Target (all linked below) but most everything else came from Addison’s Wonderland (online, in-store and from our warehouse). P.S. Our design warehouse will be open again THIS FRIDAY (4/21 12pm-4pm) & THIS SATURDAY (4/22 10am-2pm)! We are located at 327 S Lumpkin Street, Monroe, GA 30655 (two doors down from Amici’s on the front side)
Here’s a peek at the space BEFORE (can you believe that?) and TODAY!
