Summer Home Tour

Welcome to the 2016 Summer Home Showcase hosted by Kelley Nan!

A HUGE “Welcome!” to everyone who has headed over from Citrine Living! I am so excited you are joining me for my Summer Home Tour 2016! Everyone single lady in this home tour is an absolute doll and I am so honored to be included in such a talented bunch.

If you are new to my blog, get ready for color, pattern and whimsy overload. In a design world full of white and gray, I crave a little color in my life and my home is my canvas and creative outlet. Two short years ago we purchased our home and began a full renovation. Just shy of gutting the home, we literally replaced everything except the sheetrock and the front porch. You can see my full home tour HERE. And that is where my blog began. Formerly Addison’s Wonderland children’s bedding where you may have seen me pitch my bedding company on ABC’s Shark Tank, I decided to take a break from the manufacturing chaos to focus on our renovation, our kitchen/bath business and my family. With some renovation sneak peeks on my IG page and a million and one questions rolling in about our new home, my hubby said “hey why don’t you blog while you decide what you want to do next with AW?” And the rest is history. So these days I blog about it all… my family, my struggles & victories, our home, our “new” house flipping adventures and our newest personal adventure… Our Historic Wonderland. Life has changed quite a bit in the last two years and I couldn’t be happier with where God has led me to today. So that’s a bit about me and I hope if you are new to AW, you will continue to follow along on our crazy home renovation and design journeys!

If you are NOT new to blog, then blah blah blah about everything above and get ready for OHW to start taking off! I will be posting an update on Friday with everything we’ve completed in recent weeks. We are currently shopping for vintage doors and barnwood for some fun little projects. Also, follow me on SnapChat (AddiWonderland) for extra sneak peeks! We are also knee deep house hunting for a new flip so I will update you on that soon as well. Chaos as always in the Hayes’ home! Our house is showing today so I am PRAYING it sells soon. The girls are busy loving each other like angelic beauties and fighting like viscous wild animals now that school is out. Last week Addie came running into my room yelling “Ugh… why does Winnie have to break everything?!?” Followed by Winnie who threw her arms out and said “Well, I am a breakers people!” Which explains exactly why my “tuning out” skills have hit an all-time level of impressiveness in recent weeks ;-). So I resort to keeping them crazy busy. Gimme ALL the Summer camps 😉 #kiddingnotkidding

So now for my home tour! Seeing as though we are moving in a few short months, the “Summer-izing” of our home consisted of some fresh flowers, a few new pillows and accessories from HomeGoods as well as a little re-arranging.
