Let the Awesome Sauce Commence…

I have no idea what that means but our amazingly wonderful office manager says it on the daily and I just had to use it. Because right now is like Christmas morning every single day at OHW! Let’s just say that there is some serious awesome sauce going on. After months of planning and ordering and stressing, my vision is finally coming to life. With the exception of hearing the door chime when Mark gets home every evening and seeing the ear to ear grin on my girl’s faces when they see my car in carpool every afternoon, checking in on the house every day is my favorite thing EVER. Like EVER. EVER. EVER! These are the days when the true fun begins and I remember why I adore interior design. Of course I love paint colors and molding and doors… But THE DETAILS. Those are the things that I love. Those are the things that make my work come to life! It is also so fun to show Mark all of the changes every evening. It’s our new tradition to walk over with the kiddos each night and see what all has been done. Mark is wonderful and does not care, choose or even look at what I purchase so he literally has no clue what I am doing so every day is a surprise! Of course he and I are there on and off during the day working on things and meeting contractors but by the end of the day so much is completed and the house is cleared out for us to really see and explore!

In true “Brittany is crazy busy” style these days with my CA-razy schedule, I am sharing some pix and that is about all today! Some really awesome sneak peeks at just the very beginning of the amazingness going on. And I PROMISE next week I will be more sane and will share all of the details you want to know!
