Well, it must be a happy day for a Saturday post, huh? I am not a ceiling fan loving kind of girl. No way. No how. Yes, we do live in the South but I can do without a ceiling fan in every room except our bedroom. So, a fan in one of the prettiest and largest rooms in our house was a big no thank you! When we first moved in, I had ever so slightly maxed out our lighting budget so we put a ceiling fan in the living room for the short term. Maybe it was the short term to me and the long term for my hubby but the lighting fairies came to my rescue. You see, for some unknown and ever so wonderful reason, our less than a year old ceiling fan quit working. Maybe the elf on the shelf really is real?!? Because that is most definitely what this momma wanted for Christmas! So, one day my hubby said “fine, buy you a chandelier.” LOL.
