Let me just start this post by saying that I know I have been a little “off” lately. Okay, maybe a lot off. My world has been completely turned upside down on a dime over the last month and particularly over the last week. I am trying to keep going and stay strong and keep trucking along but it is honestly so so hard. I promise I won’t be a zombie forever and I will be back to sharing more than pretty pictures very very soon. Although I have to say that today’s post is my very favorite of our living room yet! I love you all and I cannot thank you enough for all of the social media love. You guys give me soooo much strength and encouragement. I love you all DEARLY.
I AM OBSESSED!!! I feel like I have a little mental rolodex of all of the stores I love with fun, colorful and vintage-y looking furniture and decor that I always “flip through” when I am designing a home. Now I have a new one! I have been raving about Walmart‘s new fashion lines for a little while now but today I am sharing their new HOME LINE! Walmart has SERIOUSLY stepped up their game lately. SERIOUSLY.
Last month Drew Barrymore introduced a new line for Walmart called Flower Home and it is everything that I LOVE! Color and pattern and texture and flowers with the perfect touch of boho. I think I audibly gasped when I saw this new line. Soooo cute and soooo affordable! I have been wanting to switch up the furniture arrangement in our living room for quite some time now. I have loved our sofa facing the fireplace for the last two years with chairs flanking the fireplace because it felt so cozy. Lately though, quite possibly highly influenced by Winnie needing more open space to rider her scooter through the house, I have been wanting a little bit more of an “open look”. I of course love a mix-matched design so having a funky chair combo and layered artwork was number one on the list!
