Happy Monday!!!! Rolling in late here on the blog this Monday afternoon with a little foyer makeover. My foyer has always been pretty “empty-ish” and simple given my style and love for layering. It’s a rather tight little space and I hadn’t really wanted a rug given that it would get dirty pretty quickly. Think four kiddos in and out a million times a day. I feel like I vacuum that area and the kitchen most often in our home.
But then I discovered WASHABLE RUGS… and in particular THIS ONE! I will make this post short and sweet. Just wanted to share all of the details on this space here on the blog for quick reference. In addition to this beautiful washable rug to add color and pattern, I also wanted to add a little more warmth and texture with drapery. Drapery was a bit of a struggle bus in this space since there is already two different color panels in the dining and living spaces. I ended up finding a pair that are pretty tone on tone with the color of the walls in the foyer which seemed like the perfect fit. Add in a little greenery with this wreath on the door, a pop of color with this lumbar pillow and throw blanket and VOILA! A quick, easy and affordable foyer “makeover”…
