Good afternoon!!! Coming to y’all this Wednesday afternoon with a “little” playroom update! Ab is out sick, John is working at our new warehouse and I am sitting here getting all caught up on 90 Day Fiance while working on my new book (EEEEKKKK!) and writing this post. This morning I styled up our newly completed playroom “makeover” and photographed it so here we go!
As my girlies have seemingly “grown up” overnight these last few years, our need for a true playroom have all but completely faded away. Winnie still has her Barbie playhouse and her random little Barbie towns she scatters about but otherwise her toy days are long gone. BIG TEARS! I truly cannot believe it. Seems like yesterday Addie played kitchen all day everyday and Winnie endlessly dumped toy baskets all over creation.
Last May I decided to start embarking on a little playroom big girl GLAM UP! In true AW style of course! With layers of pattern, pops of color and a few fun, whimsical touches. The glam up began with this wallpaper. I LOVE IT!!! So much so that it has been hanging in the blue color way in our mudroom and foyer now for five years and I am not even a little bit sick of it. It’s the most perfect timeless, colorful, bold and whimsical pattern. From there, I kept our same pink sectional we’ve had for a few years now and then layered it up! From the Anthro outlet rug find to the cozy sherpa swivel chair and FABULOUS ombre ottomans. Oh and let’s not forget the fun neon light! Here’s a peek at the space TODAY!
