Happy NEW YEAR!!! Spending our first day of the new year snuggled up in our newly completed sunroom (will share SOON!) binge watching Amazing Race. I think we’ve officially exhausted all documentaries that have ever been made 😉 so we are switching gears until a few new ones come out. More on New Years goals and such another day… although this post does relate a bit as you’ll soon see… but just wanted to share a little change of heart we’ve had over these last two Holiday weeks…
We have decided to SELL our Wonderland Cottage! Yep, if you’ve been around a bit you know I (we) do that quite often but I never mind sharing that sometimes life changes or mindsets change and that is OKAY. To be honest, we never even thought about keeping our newly completed historic renovation until it started to all come together these last few months and we simply started falling IN LOVE with our “cottage”. John and I were actually just chatting tonight about how we both put so much love and passion into what we do that we get a wee bit too connected to our projects. We are both TERRIBLE at just doing what’s best for the bottom line and moving along. But I will say that this trait is also what keeps us absolutely loving what we do. So having said that, we decided to put our heart for our work aside and sell our newest renovation. We have a lot going on and a lot of things we want to focus on in 2024 and we just decided that having another Airbnb is just not what we need most right now. We are still working to get our France apartment on the rental market early this year and we have some exciting things coming together on the new product manufacturing side of Addison’s Wonderland SO… THIS SPRING Wonderland Cottage will be on the market!
We do have several small things to wrap up plus we want to film a good bit of content in the home before we list it so it’ll most likely be late March before we name a price and put it on the market. And during that time we will be making it even more fabulous! So if you will be on the hunt for a new home in the next few months, she could be all yours! Here’s a peek back at the room reveals I have shared thus far. Oh and there WILL be an option purchase the home fully furnished! And if not, we will be having an open house to sell everything (furnishings and accessories) inside so STAY TUNED!
