Sitting here this afternoon sipping my decaf coffee and staring into what used to be one of the very last neutral spaces in our home. I think something used to tell me that at least a few rooms in every home should be neutral… or white… but as I have recently knocked them off one by one, I only seem to love our home more!
Today I am sharing what is now the darkest, moodiest and most warm toned room in our house! As you may remember on IG stories over the last few months, I almost painted this room like a seafoam green… and then a coral color… and then I decided to go dark and moody. I was perusing Pinterest one day for a paint color for the cabinetry in our new basement kitchenette and came across the most GORGEOUS paint color from a company in Barcelona and decided this was THE ONE! For our basement kitchen and our family room!
Post painting, it then came time to add a little pattern! For that I once again chose to work with Calico and utilize their free custom design services.
