Our Aztec Country Chic All White Cabin Dining Room Reveal…
It’s me again! Woot woot! Two days in a row. Quite possibly a record for me. In 2018 at least! Today I am sharing the reveal of our cabin dining room. Well, dining room AND breakfast room. Yesterday I shared the fun and colorful kitchen reveal and y’all totally made my day with all of the crazy sweet blog and social media compliments. I read and appreciate every single one more than you would ever know. It’s truly what has kept me going here on the blog over the last several years. You guys are the biggest cheerleaders and I love you all for it oh so much!
For the design of this space, I wanted a fairly neutral look with a big bold pop of color. First up was flooring! I am beyond OBSESSED with Shaw Floors so I once again went with one of their hardwood beauties. We have all Shaw Floors’ products in our personal home and our cabin too! I chose their Landmark Hickory Hardwoods in Grand Central and it is STUNNING! For the furnishings, I was super inspired by the insanely beautiful mountain home designed by Thom Filicia and his use of beautiful statement rugs. With white walls and zero opportunity to have some fun with wallpaper, a bold rug was the perfect statement piece! Next, we decided that since this space works double duty as breakfast and dining room AND we may be getting several families staying here at once, that we should do a pretty large table. I found this one and fell in LOOOOVE!!! For chairs, I went a little “country chic” with these windsor chairs but then of course I had to add a little funk with these wingback rattan end chairs. And finally, the chandelier. I never ever use or buy anything twice but I just had to. It’s in our playroom at home and I love it so much I just had to use it again.
That’s all from me for today! I am exhausted and headed to bed early this Monday evening! Goodnight and here’s a peek inside another cabin room reveal…

Brittany I absolutely love it! This is hands down one of my favorites that you’ve done and I nearly spit out my coffee when I got to the paint info because I am midway through painting our walls, trim and ceilings Behr ultra pure white! 🙂

Hi! A little bit of everywhere! LOL! Some are from HomeGoods, some are from At Home Stores and then some are from local antique stores. Thanks so much! XOXO

Such a pretty space and the the rug looks beautiful with the white wall paint! You designed this cabin so beautifully! Are you concerned that it will get damaged/messed up by renters? It would be so sad if that rug gets all kinds of stains. 🙁

Love the rug and end chairs! Again beautiful space!! Xo Brittney

Absolutely enchanting! This might be a silly question, but do the “bends” in rugs (like the one under your dining table) go away with time and wear? Or is there a trick to getting the creases out? Thanks! Love your blog and fabulous style…I always go away inspired!

Hi – I noticed the table you linked was different than the one in the cabin picture. Is the one in the picture also from Anthropologie?
