It’s the WEEEEKEND! It is Saturday night and I am sitting at my dad’s cabin in the mountains writing this post while Mark and the girls watch Tangled. While we were in Europe this Summer, I downloaded The Sound of Music on my laptop and we spent several nights watching it while we were in Switzerland. Although most of it was filmed in Austria, our surroundings in Switzerland reminded me sooooo much of the movie and how I used to watch it every afternoon when I got off of the school bus at my grandmother’s house. It is truly one of the best movies ever made and I so enjoyed watching my girls fall in love with it too. Addison then decided that Winnie needed to watch all of the “old movies” she “grew up watching” like Tangled. LOL. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. Like ever ever.
As you have most likely seen on my blog and social media. Thursday was the very first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and the start of one week of Private Access shopping. If you have a Nordstrom Credit Card you can shop this first week and snag soooo many amazing deals on Fall and Winter goodies that haven’t even hit the shelves yet! If you don’t already have a Nordstrom Card and would like to shop the sale, you can SIGN UP HERE. They offer so many great rewards and Nordstrom dollars which I LOVE!
Thursday I shared TWO posts about the sale! One was an organized shopping guide by category of “My Top Picks for the Sale“. That evening I then shared “What I Loved Most + Fit Reviews” from my in-store shopping trip. Although I love a good dressing room try-on session, I love getting home and re-styling everything even more! I always feel rushed in store so I love to get home and go through everything and re-share what I purchased and ideas for styling each piece. So without further chatter, here is…
