Happy Tuesday!!!! Today is kind of my Friday since Abigail and I are flying out first thing tomorrow for NYC. Eeeeeeek!!! New York City is my FAVE FAVE FAVE. I had my heart absolutely set on moving there after college during my early college days as a fashion major but quickly realized that it was a weeeeee bit pricey. Although the touristy spots are fun and all, I absolutely LOVE Lower Manhattan. I always feel like when people say that they “hated their one and only trip New York City” that they maybe stuck to the craziness of Times Square and didn’t get the full feel for the city. I will be attending the 5th Annual Better Homes & Gardens StyleMaker Event which I soooooo look forward to every year. First, it is always an honor to be invited and included with such amazing talent. It was also one of the very first things four years ago now that gave me the boost of confidence I needed to feel like a “real blogger” and take things to the next step with my career. And finally, I absolutely LOVE to visit with all of my creative friends, new and old. I have met so many bloggers over the years that have become close friends now so it’s always so fun to see everyone again and make new friends!

Today I have partnered with Walmart for a little dining room refresh and a little splash of Fall inside my 1905 home. I LOVE changing things up from time to time! Although I love the overall look of my home and don’t really plan on changing anything too major, I love to play a little furniture switcheroo from time to time. Plus, new pillows, throws and table settings are ALWAYS on my list of fun things to change up. Lately I have been shopping Walmart online more and more and more. Between their new fashion lines (in which I found my FAVORITE pair of jeans EVER that are $16!!!!) and so many cute new home decor lines, I have found so many affordable additions to my home and wardrobe lately at Walmart. They have FREE SHIPPING for Orders Over $35 AND Free Next Day Delivery! My orders come soooo fast!

For this room update, I started the “redesign” by stumbling upon this beautiful and super affordable black spindleback bench. I loved the height and detail and pop of black it added to the space. I knew I wanted it to stand out and the parsons chairs I had in the space were too tall so I played a little switcheroo with two white armchairs I had in the basement living room. From there, I found this lush taupe fur rug that added amazing texture and warmth to the space and these fun retro red pillow covers. I never ever ever use red but it ended up being a great pop of Fall color in the space! Here is a peek at my newly styled dining room…
