Good Afternoon and Happy Monday and Happy Quarantine Day #583,274,257… I mean 13. Today is April 1st and April Fool’s Day and I just got Addie soooooooo good. It’s become a little “tradition” each year for me to “get her good” and every single year she SWEARS she won’t let it happen again but I DID IT! Got her GOOD and she’s still grumbling at me. LOL. She even remembered it was April Fool’s Day too! She snuck into my phone and changed my password to get me this morning. I kept trying it over and over and over. LOL. To get her this year I made a fake FB post and wrote that our Governor here in Georgia announced a new school start date of November 15, 2020. I even acted like I was calling my boyfriend to see if he had seen it. Ha! Until next year…
Today I am popping in to share the vintage American Flag I finally hung in our hallway! Last year I dated the sweetest guy for a couple of months late Summer and he got it for me for my birthday. It is a Vintage 48 Star American Flag and I LOVE IT! Such a thoughtful gift. He had one in a bedroom of his home and I loved it so much that he got me one too. Mine is almost exactly like THIS ONE and is the exact same size. I have been trying to think of a statement piece for this hallway for like four years now so I am so happy to finally have this up! And what perfect timing too. God Bless America…
