Come along with us on an adventure from the oh so fun, beautiful and historic city of Edinburgh all the way up to Inverness and the Isle of Skye. Think Outlander… hehehe. Yep, AW Travel is headed to SCOTLAND and we would LOVE to have you join! We have listened to your feedback and we are finally launching a SUMMER trip for y’all! Next June, this exact week next year, we are headed out on a true adventure from Edinburgh to Inverness, Isle of Skye and Oban, Scotland. This is a COUPLE’S trip so grab your love, and come to one of the most beautiful places in the world! Our 8-day journey begins on Sunday, June 7th, 2026 through Sunday, June 14th, 2026 with everything already planned out for you… from castle tours to estate village visits, whisky distillery tastings and a ferry across the Isle of Skye. Whether you are timid about traveling abroad or you just love the idea of meeting new people, our AW Travel trips are for you! Most everything is already planned and completely taken care of so all that’s left to do is eat, drink and make memories that’ll last a lifetime. We’ve had so so many people say that taking a trip with us has given them the confidence and inspiration to travel Europe on their own. And not to mention the lifelong friends made on each of our trips!

John and I will be traveling along with you and we cannot WAIT to welcome you in Edinburgh next June! The trip is 8 days and 7 nights… June 7th, 2026 through June 14th, 2026. I can assure you that you are going to fall in LOVE with Scotland!
The trip cost is $5,699 per person (airfare not included) and once again, includes an absolute TON! The cost includes seven nights of accommodations from Edinburgh to Iverness, Isle of Skye and Oban. We actually even added a night to the standard itinerary so everyone would really get a chance to explore Edinburgh. The cost also includes all city transfers, our local guide, breakfasts and then several extra meals and experiences. Those are… a group “welcome” dinner at a local restaurant the first evening and then two days exploring Edinburgh. The first full day… day two… will include a walking tour of Edinburgh and it’s 3,000 years of history! From the Royal Mile, to Canongate Kirkyard, Holyroof Palace, Scottish Parliament, National Galleries of Scotland, High Street and Gladstone’s Land Edinburgh Castle Esplanade… you will get to see it all! We will then tour Edinburgh Castle. Day three is the day we added which will give everyone time to explore, hang out and grab a cocktail. I love Edinburgh so much that I wanted ample time for everyone to shop, dine and explore. Next is our first ‘Touring’ Day! We will leave Edinburgh by midi-coach and set out for the stunning Scottish Highlands with our driver and local guide. Our first stop is at the idyllic village of Dunkeld, before visiting a Highland Whisky Distillery to discover how their most famous spirit is made. We’ll then travel through the Cairngorms National Park and visit the Highland Folk Museum – an immersive outdoor museum where scenes from ‘Outlander’ were filmed. We’ll then continue north to the bronze-aged standing stones and burial chambers at Clava, before taking a walk onto Culloden Moor and arriving into the capital City of the Highlands – Inverness. From there, for day five, we will re-join the coach and drive alongside monstrous Loch Ness and through gorgeous Glens on our way to the Isle of Skye. We’ll stop to explore the iconic Eilean Donan Castle before spending the whole afternoon touring the magical Isle of Skye. We will then continue our adventure on the Isle of Skye with a visit to Armadale Castle and the museum of the isles. From there we will take a ferry over to the fishing port of Mallaig. Finally, we will leave Oban behind and begin our trip back to Edinburgh. Along the way, we’ll visit St Conan’s Kirk. The afternoon will be at leisure in Edinburgh before joining the group for a farewell dinner.
Flights are once again NOT INCLUDED and are to be booked on your own… everyone will be arriving from different destinations and you’ll be able to extend your travels on your own if you’d like as well!
Once again, we went a bit outside of what our travel company typically sets up for these travels and upgraded the accommodations to 4+ stars in Edinburgh and upgraded all of the meals and experiences. Hey, when you travel halfway across the world you want the full experience right?!?
