Happy WEEKEND!!! Ab and I are somehow sitting here in tears over blog titles. I guess after 8+ years of blogging, my brain has been beyond drained of cutesy, creative ones. If I honestly really even had any amazing ones to begin with. So Ab and I just threw around everything from “Hopping into Spring” to “Immortal Topiaries”… yep, it’s been a long week. LOL! John and I are actually sans kiddos this weekend with ZERO plans which I am not sure has happened since we met so after a long week, it’ll be a fabulously NOTHING weekend!
Today I am sharing my favorite porch refresh to date! And there have been quite a few! I will say that although I do like to change things up quite often that a) our swing, side tables and white lanterns have pretty much been around since day one and b) most everything I replaced needed it BAD! The one new thing I did tackle this go around aside from the usual pillow updates and new plants was FAUX TOPIARIES. And I love them! I was sooooo unsure about it when I ordered them but thought it was worth a shot. We can’t seem to really keep anything alive by the front door. You can definitely tell when you are super up close that they’re fake but not in a bad way I don’t think. They are much nicer than I thought! Plus, once you kind of bend and mold the “leaves” a bit in the twisting topiary kind of motion flattening them down, it helps a lot! Here’s a peek at our porch TODAY! All ready for Spring!
