Our Iceland Girl’s Trip is Launching THIS FRIDAY, August 8th at 12pm EST!
FIRST… MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON OUR TRAVEL LIST (CLICK HERE)! (same list as always)
Hey ladies, we are going on an ADVENTURE! Next September we are partnering with EF Go Ahead to bring you an INCREDIBLE tour of ICELAND!! Grab a friend or come solo (over half of our girl’s trip ladies usually do!) and join us as we chase the Northern Lights! Truly the adventure of a lifetime… and a first for Ab and I as well! AW Travel is headed to ICELAND and we would LOVE to have you join! If you have missed out on booking your spot on any of our EIGHT AW Travel trips so far, here is your chance to travel the world with us… on our 9th AW Travel trip!

We were initially planning to launch this as a couple’s or “duo’s” trip, but after our Portugal girl’s trip sold out during the pre-booking launch to previous travelers, we decided we needed ONE MORE girl’s trip for 2026! So next September 2026, we are headed out on a true adventure from Reykjavík to Húsafell, Iceland. Our 7-day journey begins on Saturday, September 19th, 2026 and goes through Friday, September 25th, 2026 with everything already planned out for you… from a Reykjavík food tour to touring an Icelandic wool shop, lunch at Friðheimar Farm and of course chasing the Northern Lights! Whether you are timid about traveling abroad, or you just love the idea of meeting new people, our AW Travel trips are for you! Most everything is already planned and completely taken care of so all that’s left to do is eat, drink and make memories that’ll last a lifetime. We’ve had so so many people say that taking a trip with us has given them the confidence and inspiration to travel on their own… Not to mention the lifelong friends made on each of our trips!

Join us on a seven-day trip traversing the beautiful country of Iceland! This tour hits all the highlights, from the staggered columns of the Hallgrímskirkja church to the sparse expanse of West Iceland. While we can’t guarantee you’ll see them, we’ll do everything we can to give you your moment with the Northern Lights. We have packed out this itinerary with all of the best things to see and do and cannot WAIT to travel with you all!
P.S. Space is limited… we have a limited number of total spots with almost half already filled by previous travelers so if you are in, make sure and book THIS FRIDAY!!! Our last girl’s trip SOLD OUT during the PRE-LAUNCH!

Not on our “Travel With AW” e-mail list?? JOIN HERE!
Ab and I will be traveling along with you and we cannot WAIT to welcome you in Iceland next September! The trip is 7 days and 6 nights… September 19th, 2026 through September 25th, 2026. I can assure you that this will be the adventure of a lifetime!
The trip cost is $5,469 per person and once again, includes an absolute TON! ALSO, you have to opportunity to add airfare at booking if you would like that portion of the trip situated for you. The cost includes six nights of accommodations from Reykjavík to Húsafell. The cost also includes all city transfers, our local guide, breakfasts and then several extra meals and experiences. Those are… a group “welcome” lunch the first day and then free time to rest up and explore. The first full day we will take to the streets of Reykjavik with a local guide to experience a true taste of Iceland’s heritage. We will stroll through the bustling Reykjavik weekend food market and indulge in authentic Icelandic flavors. We’ll then head to Miðborg, the downtown neighborhood more simply known as the 101, to visit the Hallgrímskirkja. Reaching almost 245 feet into the sky at its peak, this church is one of the tallest buildings in the city—and with its breathtaking curved spire, it’s one of the most distinct, too. Next, we will pass the Alþingishúsið, home of the national parliament, and the lakeside City Hall before stopping at the National Gallery of Iceland to view the work of renowned local artists like Ásmundur Sveinsson and Einar Jónsson. Afterward, we will take a guided tour of an Icelandic wool shop to hear about the region’s knitting tradition. Once the evening rolls in, we will reconvene and set off as a group in search of the Aurora Borealis—the Northern Lights. We’ll make the hour-long journey out of Reykjavík to the Icelandic countryside (less light pollution means clearer skies!), settle in with a cup of hot cocoa, and keep watch for those ephemeral shimmers. And that’s all just during our FIRST full day! For day two, we will board a bus and drive along the famous Golden Circle. Running for 190 miles across pristine landscapes, the Golden Circle encompasses some of Iceland’s most magnificent natural wonders. This day we’ll board our bus and drive along some of this famous route. Along the drive, we will tour the horse stables at Friðheimar to learn about Icelandic horse breeding during a presentation served with coffee and tea. We’ll sample tomatoes and sit down for lunch at Friðheimar Farm, where the produce is grown fresh in a greenhouse heated by geothermal energy. From there, we will enter the Haukadalur, a valley teeming with geothermal activity, and explore the area surrounding the Great Geysir. While it hasn’t erupted since 2016, its nearby cousin, Strokkur, hasn’t stopped, spouting into the air every five to 10 minutes. Then we will marvel at Gullfoss, the Golden Waterfall that ranks as one of the most powerful in all of Europe. And then for the evening, we will keep warm with hot cocoa as we await a celestial show chasing the northern lights outside of Reykjavík. Day three we will make our way to the Sky Lagoon Spa and spend the day indulging in their Seven Step Ritual upgraded experience. There you can relax in the main bath as you sip your complimentary drink from the swim up bar…. leisurely alternate between multiple warm and cold therapies… take in the panoramic ocean views from the sauna… and enjoy a traditional Icelandic body scrub! For our fourth full day, we will roll out to West Iceland, a geographically diverse wonderland that inspired Viking writers and continues to captivate travelers. There we will walk a one-mile loop and watch as Deildartunguhver—Europe’s most powerful hot spring—bubbles and flows without end. Water gushes out of the ground at a piping-hot 207 degrees and is used for heating in nearby towns. We will also see two waterfalls, different in scale: the Hraunfossar, with its kilometer-long series of gentle rivulets, and the Barnafoss, a rapid cascade that lies at the heart of a dark local legend. And then we will visit Reykholt, a historic village that was home to Snorri Sturluson, a 13th-century author and two-time leader of the Althing. Then, we will make our way to the Langjökull—Iceland’s second-largest glacier. There we will drive along the ice cap in a specially modified truck, then walk through its interior ice tunnels. That evening, we will sit down for an included dinner, served with beer or wine, and prepare for the return trip to Reykjavik. For our final day, we will transfer back to Reykjavik and then celebrate our trip with our group at a farewell dinner and recount all of our epic memories before turning in for the night and saying our goodbyes.

For the first time, you can chose to have your flights INCLUDED at booking! This is completely up to your personal preference! ALSO, if you are planning to be paired up in a double room with another lady on the trip, Carson (our FABULOUS account manager) will be reaching out to you after booking to confirm your double room and double occupancy pricing! Similarly, if you would like to room with someone that you signed up with, he will be able to confirm that roommate selection after booking!

We absolutely cannot WAIT to travel with all of you!!!
XOXO, Brit & Ab
