The countdown is ON! Just seven more days until Santa makes his rounds and brings Addison all things Harry Potter and Winter baby doll accessories galore. Well, we are actually headed out of town for the Holidays so Santa will be making a late arrival at our home this year. We spent the weekend celebrating an early Christmas with my family at our cabin and I have to say that celebrating early was kind of fabulous! It felt just like our annual Christmas Day gathering full of food and games and gifts yet with an entire week left until the big day!
The weekend was so relaxing and fun yet also kind of a whirlwind. Getting ready for our Christmas party and then preparing for our massive cabin renovation that is set to begin today kept us busy pretty much all weekend long. We arrived late Thursday evening, spent Friday putting up our tree and getting ready for the party, all day Saturday relaxing and partying and then the entire day Sunday cleaning and de-cluttering for our flooring installation with Shaw Floors that began today. Yippeeee! You guys don’t even know how excited I am to get this transformation underway. Painting will commence once Shaw Floors is all finished up and then the place will be almost unrecognizable once we return early January. So excited to get back from our trip to a “brand new cabin”. Shaw Floors is replacing every single inch of flooring and wall tile in the home while the painters will be leaving no wall, ceiling or piece of trim untouched. Once flooring and paint is complete, Mark and I will start working our magic in the kitchen and bathrooms as well as all new wallpaper and lighting galore! So get ready for all things “Our Wilderness Wonderland” in 2018!
As you know from our personal home, Shaw Floors is the only place I even need to visit when it comes to flooring and even wall tile. I am OBSESSED with every square inch of flooring in our home including Addison’s GORGEOUS Shaw Floors’ Muir’s Park in Bridal Veil hardwoods in her bedroom. So today I am sharing Addison’s bedroom all decked out with Holiday cheer! Last week I surprised the girls by decorating both of their bedrooms for Christmas while they were at school. They love coming home to fun new projects at home and of course they love Christmas lights so I made sure to incorporate some Holiday twinkle into each of their bedrooms. I popped into my local HomeGoods for most all of the Christmas decor and pillows. Here is a peek at Addison’s festive coral and white young girl’s bedroom…
