Happy February! In most ways I feel like January FLEW by but this time of year also seems to draaaaaag on and on and on to me in some ways as well. Cold weather is not my favorite thing ever so the cold days seem extra long sometimes. Funny thing is that we live in Georgia and cold to me is anything below sixty but ya know… I guess it’s all about what you are used to! And I have NO CLUE how everyone is doing it in these record freezing temperature states! I think I would want to literally hibernate.

Today is Sunday and I am sitting here working on my laptop getting all caught up on “Love After Lockup” on WeTV while Mark is headed to the Super Bowl, Addie is camping with a friend and Winnie is across the street playing. Yes, I am rather boring when I get time to myself. I guess since I gave everyone my full commentary on “Love After Lockup” a week or so ago on IG Stories, I can admit here on the blog as well that I am fully hooked on this show. What is wrong with me?!? It’s like a train wreck that I cannot stop watching. Although not sure I would ever want to watch a train wreck. LOL. ANYWAYS, it’s just one of those shows that makes you feel really “normal” and starts to make you worry about humanity but then you kind of “fall in love” with the characters and start rooting for them and their incredibly bizarre and seemingly desperate relationships. I then find myself Googling their names and finding them on social media to see if they’re still together. Okay I will stop now. Hehehe.

Speaking of love and relationships, HA!, today’s post is all about Valentine’s Day with World Market! Several weeks ago I shared our living room and today I am sharing our pink and red sprinkled playroom. For some reason, our main “formal” living room and their playroom are my two favorite places to change up and make festive. I love adding a little seasonal or Holiday pop of color and fun from time to time without being too “themy” if you know what I mean. I am such a change oriented personality that it soothes my need for the constant “newness” I crave in our home without totally changing things up. I always love shopping World Market because they always have such colorful pieces that also pull at my boho loving heart strings. I shopped most everything under their Holiday section which is SUCH a great page to stalk every now and again. They have everything from decor to food and gifts. Here’s a peek at our Valentine’s Day playroom…

Hi, I'm  Brittany

Addison's Wonderland began in 2011 as everything that I dreamed of for my daughter's room. I wanted to create a dreamy wonderland for her full of colors, patterns and precious details. Once her room was complete, Addison's Wonderland was born.
