Good Morning! Happy Hump Day! I cannot even say that with a serious face and not immediately think of Mark’s lovely comment on my my IG Stories last Wednesday. Men… LOL. Although my goal is to complete my home one of these days and for once in my life call a home DONE, I also love adding fun little seasonal updates to spaces that add a new little pop of color, fun texture and a bit of warmth to each space. The one room that I ALWAYS change up every month or so is our living room. For my colorful style, it has such a neutral base between the warm gray walls, neutral sofa and armchairs and black/cream rug that the look of the room can be changed up sooo much by just changing out pillows and mantle decor. Post-Christmas fabulousness I felt like our home felt so empty and BLAH!
Earlier this week I gathered up all things “LOVE” and pink and got to work layering up our living room for Valentine’s Day. I had gotten several new things from World Market like this cute pink Juju hat that adds some super fun texture to our fireplace wall and then this gorgeous new Anthro blanket. I missed the lush look of garland from the Holidays so I chose to layer the mantle with a folded macrame runner. Lots of cute candles and fun tassel banners later, it is complete! Here’s a peek at our LOVE-ly living room…
