Good morning!!! Happy Monday!! Whew… life is busy. I am sure I don’t need to tell any of you that twice! We are all running ninety to nothing between work and kids and school. I think I almost lost my mind by mid-day Friday. Not even going to lie. It was the busiest week I’ve had since I can remember. As I am constantly pondering and working on ways to mesh my own work life and home life and make it all work, I can honestly say that I take every single opportunity I get to streamline tasks and chores and even errands. Especially amidst our crazy year in a pandemic, having less reasons to leave the house is one big YES, PLEASE!
As I announced last week on social, AW Design is HERE and I could not possibly be more excited. Since graduating college with a Bachelor’s in residential interior design way back in 2005, I have always dreamed about starting my own design firm. In some ways the timing may be a little odd. Launching something new while everything seems so uncertain yet at the same time, it has kind of felt like the timing couldn’t be more perfect. I’ve been asked for years and years about offering virtual design services so what better time than now when everyone is working remotely anyways! Hey, at least we are all familiar with Skype and Zoom and all the virtual office things.With work life that much busier and even more hours working from home, last month as I chatted about before, I signed up for Walmart+! Best. Decision. EVER. I had no idea this even existed and now I feel like I can’t live without it! It is groceries delivered to your door otherwise known to me as GENIUS. Walmart+ is Free Unlimited Delivery. Benefits vary based on location so simply CLICK HERE to find out more! Walmart+ has truly saved me so much time and money over the last month and a half and I am so darn thankful. I seriously think it says me like 2.5 hours a week plus it saves me so much money in random things I would have grabbed walking the store. Or that Winnie would have grabbed walking the aisles 😉 The minimum is just $35 (and some restrictions do apply) so it works for me every single time I need to grab groceries!
Earlier today I simply carted everything I needed for breakfast, lunch and dinner this week plus a few random school supplies and gadgets right before I left to get the girlies from school and quite literally came home to it all sitting on my front porch! Walmart+ is the same everyday prices we all love plus here are additional benefits as well! You save $.05 a gallon on fuel at most Walmart and Murphy stations which that alone is HUGE savings for me! Especially since I drive the hour and a half to John’s and back at least twice a week. And it also includes their mobile scan and go!
