CYBER WEEK UPDATE!!!
Good morning friends! The girls and I are sitting here in our cabin this morning still in our pj’s while Mark is headed into work. They were out of school Friday and Monday (today) for Winter Break so we decided to make a four day weekend of it here in the North Georgia mountains. An opportunity for us to make some serious progress completing Our Wilderness Wonderland AND play all of our favorite board games and watch all of the girl’s favorite movies. Oh and wear a baseball cap all weekend long. Yep, any excuse to not wash my hair for multiple days is all kinds of amazing in my book!
I am literally spending the day today cleaning, packing and photographing most all of what we have completed thus far but I wanted to pop in this morning and share our super cozy new mattresses from Sweet Zzz! If there’s a “top five” of things that Mark and I look forward to most on our weekends here at the cabin, it is a good night’s sleep. It is so super quiet and peaceful and dark that we could literally probably sleep until noon. If Winnie didn’t tip toe in about 7:15am every morning and get riiiiiight up to my nose and say “hey mommy”. I still jump every single time.
Sweet Zzz all started years ago with a simple idea… to create a mattress designed from their O-Cell FoamTM to improve on all the strengths of the popular memory foam mattress while removing all the weaknesses. First, they are extremely durable. Most memory foam beds are 2-3lb in density while all Sweet Zzz mattresses are 4-5lbs in density. Second, the O-Cell FoamTM makes the mattress so much cooler! And finally , they’re built with the world’s strongest base. All together creating one super cozy mattress. Plus, they have been in business longer than most online bed-in-a-box companies and for every Sweet Zzz Mattress sold, 20 meals are donated to fight hunger!
As you may have seen over the last year of blog posts, we have quite a few “mattress in a box” mattresses in our home and cabin. I was honestly a little weary when I agreed to collaborate with the first company about a year and a half ago now because I had never tried one before and I ALWAYS promise my readers honest reviews. I did not want to receive something that large and then have to send it back. In less than three years, Mark and I had been through THREE “mattress store” mattresses in our master bedroom alone so we were a little frustrated spending good money for something that we didn’t even like. Yes, we would try them out in the store and they seemed fabulous but then once we got them home, we basically turned into Goldilocks and they were all way too hard or way too soft. One literally even completely compressed on Mark’s side within three months and I couldn’t even sleep on it without immediately sliding down. And it was a $1,500 mattress!
ANYWAYS, so we got our first “mattress in a box” a year and a half ago now in Addison’s room and I can honestly and very truthfully say we will never go back! Never go back to visiting a mattress store, making sure it won’t rain that day, lugging them home in Mark’s truck and dragging them inside our house. Sweet Zzz Mattress made the process so super easy for us at our cabin that we are not only hooked for our personal home but also for our flip and rental homes as well! Especially considering that it is sometimes even more difficult to find a mattress store in more remote areas like this PLUS we are usually only here for 2-3 days at a time so driving to the store, loading them up and then driving back and unloading is not exactly how we want to spend half of one of our days here. For the king and queen we received for our cabin, we simply ordered online, they were delivered to our front porch, we opened the boxes inside each bedroom, rolled them out and then watched them unfold! It was seriously sooo easy and literally took maybe 15 minutes. Oh and Mark found this bed frame + “boxspring” all-in-one that we also had delivered straight to our home. Truly the easiest bed setup EVER!
For our cabin I knew I wanted really good mattresses because we will be renting it out quite often. I want people to be cozy and want to come back PLUS I need them to hold up! I agreed to collaborate with Sweet Zzz because we not only have LOVED all of the mattresses we have gotten thus far but they also make it pretty darn irresistible to be quite honest! They offer free shipping, free returns, a 100 day risk free trial, a lifetime warranty AND this mattress is well under $1,000! Mark loves it because it is soft like a memory foam mattress but I love it because it is also very supportive. It doesn’t seem to continue compressing the longer you lay on it. So here’s a peek at our new mattresses and two of the bedrooms in our cabin…
