Happy Thanksgiving Week!!! The Holiday season is officially HERE and I am officially READY. Well, my house is ready at least. LOL. Today I got home from the most wonderful four day weekend getaway in New Orleans, Louisiana! If you follow me on Instagram, you saw a little peek at my weekend ;-)))). I visited New Orleans on a cruise ship stop literally almost two decades ago now so I don’t remember too much. Plus, our trip was pre-Katrina so I think a lot has changed since then. Not sure if it was the amazing man I got to spend the weekend with or the actual city but I absolutely LOVED every single minute in New Orleans. The city is sooooo fun and lively and rich in New Orleans culture. From the rich creole food to their signature drinks and jazz serenades around every corner, the city is soooooo fun. We even did a little shopping and I ordered a New Orleans’ style hanging gas lantern for my front porch which I am sooooooo excited about. I’d had a gas line run to the porch right above our front porch swing three years ago now during our initial renovations but never got around to actually ordering one! It is a 24″ Copper Yoke Lantern from Bevolo Gas Lights. Cannot WAIT to share my “little” New Orleans souvenir once it gets hung!
