Winter’s Chic “Crib”
Saying goodbye to Winter’s first nursery was seriously a sad day. I absolutely loved walking into her bright and beautiful room every morning to see her giggling little face. If there was one room that I liked less at our new house than our previous home, it would definitely be Winnie’s room. As you saw in Meet Winter Hailyn, we had put a lot of work into her flooring, custom cabinetry, paint and molding. When we moved earlier this year, I decided it wouldn’t be long before wild child was ready for her big girl bed so there was no sense in finishing it completely. So, we simply had it painted and I created a mix and match look with products from different Addison’s Wonderland bedding collections.
And a HUGE Thank You to Swanky Baby Vintage for the adorable outfit Winter is rocking in her bedroom shoot!

Hi Brittany!
I’m redoing a friend’s little girl’s room and the color scheme is similar to Winter’s room. However, I’ve had a hard time finding the right color for the walls to match the image I have in mind. The swatch of the Robin’s Nest looks so blue, but on her walls it looks minty. Is that just the images or do you feel like it came out with a hint of green? This is exactly what I’m looking for.
Thanks,
Taylor

This room is just beautiful! I absolutely love your style and the way you use color in your home. I am currently trying to update my girls bedroom and am trying to attach the curtains to the bed crown with no luck!! I have used industrial grade Velcro with adhesive on both sides and it just wont stay up. Any tips you can provide me on how you were able to attach yours would be sooooo greatly appreciated!!!!!! 🙂

Hey, I’m making a similar canopy to the bed crown that you did in winters room but is it wood that you used or what is on the wall to attach the fabric to? Thank you, Tanya

The fabric panels are attached to the inside of the cornice 🙂 Thanks!
