BEFORE
SO as you guys saw yesterday, we have the most amazing new front porch swing. I swear that Mark is ALWAYS the most “skeptical” about the things he ends up loving the most. It is strange. Literally this is the THIRD time this has happened. First was the back porch swing then the basement sectional and now the front porch swing. He is all BLAAAAHHHHHHH and then these are literally the three places you can find him most often.
One of the things we love most about OHW is the beautiful neighborhood. So many established trees and chirping birds (which we love SOMETIMES hehe) and kids riding their bikes down the street… so hanging out on the front porch gives us the chance to soak up the hood. Plus Winnie and Addie love to run circles around the house and ride their scooters up and down the driveway so this has become our little hangout spot. Although the swing looked super fab once it was hung, it needed a little color. And pattern.
SO I partnered with one of my faves, World Market, to make our front porch not only beautiful but also super cozy and inviting. World Market has the BIGGEST selection of outdoor pillows and rugs and even throw blankets and poufs. All gorgeous products that are meant to be outside! Which is always so hard to find! I always feel like outdoor pillows are always so stiff and “obviously outdoor” but World Market’s selection blew my mind! They have embroidered and even macrame pillows, soft throws and cushy poufs that look EXACTLY like those I would use in my living room. Our front porch turned out soooo beautiful and we are in LOVE with hanging out here. Winnie and I sat on it and read her library books just last night. All cozied up with our new throw blanket…
