Happy Monday! Mark and I are sitting in our hotel room this Sunday evening looking out at THE MOST BEAUTIFUL view of Vail, Colorado. Seriously this entire state is absolutely stunning. We have spent the last three days road-tripping from Denver to Colorado Springs to Blackhawk to Breckinridge to Vail and the drive down I-70 is one of the top three prettiest drives we have ever taken. Snowy mountain views for miles and miles and miles. A must see for sure! Earlier today we went snowmobiling and it was sooooo fun. If you’ve never been, I highly highly suggest it. We first went several years ago in Park City, Utah and it’s still one of our favorite adventures to date. And still a fave for me even though I was “banned” from driving a snowmobile after our first adventure when Mark claimed I drove too fast and was too wreck-less. Seriously?!? Who called the dang the fun police?? I truly think he thought he was going to die riding on the back with me. Ha!

Today I am sharing a fun little dinner idea that would be perfect for a staycation date night or a little surprise for the kiddos or even a fun girl’s night! World Market is having their BIGGEST DINING SALE OF THE YEAR so I thought I would share the sale along with some of my personal World Market faves in a rather unconventional way… an evening dining in the living room! Yep, dinner in the den. The girls came home from school after I had gotten everything set up and they were begging to have our “fancy dinner” that night. I love changing things up and doing new and different things for our marriage and for our kiddos. Keeps life fun and interesting. Even if it just means pulling up some ottomans to the coffee table, lighting a fire and eating from a bar cart!

I LOVE so many of the dining room furnishings from World Market. As you may remember from our last home, I used their Elliott Wingback Chairs as end chairs and a Wishbone Chair similar to this one one one side of the table along with two tufted chairs they no longer carry on either side. This time around with our new home, I chose lots of their furniture for our living room as well! I chose their Marble Coffee Table along with two Tribal Carved Accent Tables in front of our sofa and it not only looks great, but has worked wonderful for us functionally as well. As you can see as this post, they have even doubled as a “dining room table”! So here’s a peek at our fun evening dining in the living room with World Market
