Good Morning Team Wonderland! I am sitting here this Monday morning finishing up a post that I should’ve completed over the weekend or maybe even last week. Oops! As I chatted about on IG Stories on Saturday, I kind of overlooked the deadline for this collaboration. Which I honestly never ever do! I blame it on our Summer adventures when I was trying to work from Europe on my phone every now and then without my calendar. The funny thing is that I was sitting in the living room Saturday morning staring at our empty walls thinking that I was looking forward to working on this project and then I thought… when is that collaboration… oh wait shoot I think it’s in August… and it’s August… mid-August… (runs to my laptop). Soooo with Mark out of town, I pulled out his tools and got to work!

Today I teamed up with World Market for the living room revamp I have been dreaming of for quite some time now. This 1905 place we call home is our ultimate dream home and a place we consider our forever home. For those who know us personally, you are probably laughing or possibly rolling your eyes right about now. We are fans of change and projects and moving all over the place so we shall see BUT we really really do intend to stay here for the long haul. And although it’s kind of a “thing” as a blogger to reinvent your home a million different ways, I want to design each room exactly how I want it and eventually call it COMPLETE. Although I’ve been adding onto and tweaking each room from time to time, it’s all in an effort to feel like it’s 110% what I want and how I want it for a long long time. Which is exactly why I always say that although a good bit of my posts are sponsored, they are collaborations that I have chosen as part of my overall vision for our home. Not just things that I use in a space for a post and then change it up the next time an opportunity rolls around.

I chose World Market for this particular living room revamp and gallery wall project because I really do LOVE their collections and products. I love that they always have traditional, classic styles in fun colors and patterns with unique twists and details. I love popping into their stores from time to time but since the nearest one is almost an hour away, I shop online about 99% of the time. Their website is organized and so super easy to shop. I also love shopping online because I can literally sit in the space I am working on with my laptop and visualize what I am selecting in the space.

Our walls have been blank for a while now folks. One year and 9 months to be exact! I get asked why allllll the time on IG stories and my answer is always the same… just haven’t had time and haven’t had a collection of stuff I felt inspired to hang on the walls. For our forever home, I want artwork that is meaningful. Things that tell our story and spark memories. From our travels to our family, I want to create gallery walls that I am excited about creating. And for the first time in almost two years, I am soooo excited to share my very first gallery wall! The idea to partner with World Market for this project actually came when I saw THESE FRAMES and then THIS FRAME online. I fell in LOVE with the styles and felt they were perfect for so many of our Summer adventure finds. As you may have seen if you followed our Summer travels, I bought a good bit of GORGEOUS paper in France. I also purchased vintage inspired postcards in most every city I could find them in France and Switzerland. I decided to layer the two for these frames and I LOVE how they turned out! I also used several other pieces of art we purchased in Europe as well as two gold framed antiques from my late grandmother’s home…

I also felt inspired to change up the pillows in the space with some AMAZING ones I found online as well! I love all of these textures and colors and they all look so darn cute in the space. Here’s a peek at our living room BEFORE and then TODAY!

Hi, I'm  Brittany

Addison's Wonderland began in 2011 as everything that I dreamed of for my daughter's room. I wanted to create a dreamy wonderland for her full of colors, patterns and precious details. Once her room was complete, Addison's Wonderland was born.
