Our Updated Exterior Craftsman Home Tour!
That title. I know. Sometimes I title things all cute for you guys and then every now and again I try to do it correctly for Google search. Boring! Anyways, today I am sharing an exterior progress tour… iPhone style. We have done soooo incredibly much since day one so I wanted to show you a little peek at what all we have done! With our move-in day just 17 days away, we still have a good bit left to do but we are on the mega downhill for sure!
Mark worked most all weekend on finishing up some exterior projects while the girlies and I did some furniture shopping. We hit up Atlanta and Athens on Saturday and Sunday. I’ve had lots of questions about how much I have planned and purchased for the interior and the answer is… a lot and not a lot. A lot of planning and not a lot of purchasing. That is usually my style. I look everywhere and at everything while I build my mental plan and then I order everything at once. We seriously may be sleeping on mattresses for a bit but I’d rather take my time and do everything how I want than to rush through it all. I have a clear mental plan for the look I want so now it’s just a matter of getting it all ordered! I cannot WAIT to continue taking you all on this journey. This is the part I love most and where it all comes together!
So here’s a quick peek at where we began…
And now I will take you on a little stroll around OHW to see where we are today!

I would love to restore something like this, I don’t know if this is too pesonal but did you have a budget to work with and now much would you set aside for a reno of this size?

I move watching this while process, it’s so neat to see it happening. We’re getting ready to build a house next year and I was wondering if you had any tips on how to make it move so quickly? How do you plan everything out from scratch? Is there an order you do? And do you have it all planned out before you begin? It’s turning out so pretty, can’t wait to see more!

It looks very nice! I’m glad the deck railing has been painted white and it just goes so well with all the window trims!

1/2 soot & 1/2 witching hour? Is the 2 colors mixed together to achieve this color? Or is the siding in soot?
