Happy Hump Day! It is currently Tuesday evening and I am literally eating dinner and writing this post at the exact same time. Bite… sentence… bite… sentence… I usually try really hard to have a good work/life separation but ya know. Sometimes life just gets in the dang way. I spent all day either carting kiddos around like their personal Uber driver or standing on a ladder. I somehow managed to drive back and forth to their school four times, to after school activities three times and to Wal-Mart twice. And about that ladder… I literally hung curtains alllllll day long. It took about 25 times longer than I thought it would and my arms are seriously already sore from holding them up all day adjusting drapery pins and twisting eye hooks into the wall. Between pressing them and adding drapery pins and eye hooks and readjusting for our old uneven floors…. I was over it by about noon. BUT I am SOOOO excited to share the reveal on Friday! They look AMAZING and it was worth every “near fall” and drapery pin stab. Well, almost. Sometimes I get crazy frustrated that I cannot do all of the things that Mark can do so I refuse to ask for help and do things I probably shouldn’t. Today was one of those days. Grrrr….
Today I am popping in to share a little “Spring with a touch of Easter” update to our living room. You guys know that I am not all about the traditional theme-y holiday decor so I just did my own thing and added a little punch of color here and a little hint of Easter joy there. Just some fun little changes to a space that I LOVE to constantly change up. Since I am a highly “change oriented” personality, I gave our living room some basic neutral pieces with the ability to switch things up and change out looks easily. And so far I am loving it! Here is a peek at our Spring / Easter living room…
